For this year’s Museum Night, we have prepared an exhibition of the Early Christian Basilica in Novalja and a lecture
in light of new discoveries held by mag. archeologist Pio Domines Peter from the company Arheolog d.o.o.
He is a young and enthusiastic expert who has been actively participating in archaeological research and various projects aimed at preserving and presenting cultural heritage in the Novalja area, the island of Pag, and beyond for years. He is the author and co-author of scientific papers, a collaborator of various institutions and associations, a workshop leader, a presenter at meetings and congresses, who will use this opportunity to share the latest findings about the exceptional early Christian heritage of Novalja, as evidenced by three imposing basilicas, unique gilded and silver reliquaries, luxurious mosaics, richly decorated sarcophagi…
For the youngest, we have prepared a tour of the museum with an animator for children and adults.
